Privacy policy
Head's Gone! is a football guessing game for playing with friends. It is run by Matthew Jeffries, trading as Head's Gone! ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, where it goes, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
The short version: there are no accounts. We don't collect your name or email address, and we don't run analytics or advertising. Everything you set up in the game stays on your own device.
What stays on your device
The game saves a few things in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time you play. This information never leaves your device and we can't see it.

You can delete all of it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, or by uninstalling the app.
Motion sensors
While a round is running, the game reads your phone's tilt so it can tell when you tip it down for a correct answer or up to pass. These readings are only used on the device, at that moment. They are not stored or sent anywhere. On iPhone you'll be asked for permission first, and you can say no and use the on-screen buttons instead.
Information other services receive
Loading any website means your device asks servers for files, and those servers see some basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. The game uses these services:

We don't receive or combine this information. Each service handles it under its own privacy policy.
Payments
Paid packs aren't on sale yet. When they are, payment will be handled by the app store or a payment provider, and we'll update this policy to say which one and what it shares with us. We will never see your full card details.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and doesn't ask anyone for personal information. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Because the game doesn't send us any personal information, we normally won't hold any. You can still contact us with questions, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If the game starts collecting anything new, such as through payments, adverts or analytics, we'll update this page before it happens and change the date at the top.
